ctek mxs7 as a power supply

hi, would it be ok to use a ctek mxs7 as a power supply when i do my cod and 3 flash indicator update on my05 d3 ( via iid tool bt). i would fully charge the battery first as well. whats your thoughts?

I’ve got an older but similar spec unit and it does it just fine. TBH the last couple of times I haven’t remembered to hook it up and I’ve not had any issues, but I wouldn’t recommend that.

I think it is yes. Thumbs Up

From memory there's 3 possibles, one's pre 07, one's post 07 ( clock on dash ) and one is post 07 for pre 07MY, which is clock on dash for cars with the earlier dash display that don't have the lights on symbol.
