D3 Automatic Gearbox - Command shift

Hi guys

I'm looking to buy my first D3. Has the D3 always had the same auto geabox? Was command shift available from the beginning or did that come in a bit later on? I was speaking to a guy selling a D3 who said his did not have command shift?

Thanks

ISTR that Iona Disko's 2005 V8 G4 had command shift so I asume they all had it from the off. But I stand to be corrected.

Autobox on the D3 has always had command shift. Maybe he just never pushed the gear lever to the left? Confused

All the autos have command shift - when you move the lever across to the left into sport mode you can move it forward or back to change up or down manually (and it then stays in command shift until you move it back to the right side of the gate). He might not have known it was called that, or never used it?

Thanks guys

Thats what i thought. Kind of makes you wonder how someone can spend so much money on a vehicle and never really be that "into it". Every car i've ever owned i learn every little thing I can about it. Seems odd to me. Question
