Or pay someone with an IID Pro to do it.
Other diagnostic widgets are available. Allegedly.

Perfect. Thanks both
Just checked IID tool. Pricey.
So now to find someone local to South Wales that can do it for me. Will all garages with diagnostic kit have one of these? Or is it specialist only?

As a slight aside. Is it equally as easy to turn the TV on as well??

If you've bought a Discovery 3, my advice would be to buy one, although you say pricey, its a great bit of kit to carry with you. I've used mine several times to read fault codes when a dash light followed by a bong have shown up.
Easy to use and the Customer Service is 2nd to none.

You won't have a tv tuner fitted
Best to leave it to a iid user.
They are £400

I already have a Bearmach Hawkeye which does a great job of reading fault codes but am guessing it won't stretch to switch on 4x4 data too?
It's ok, not so bothered about the TV, that was just an afterthought really.

Just had read through Hawkeye pro manual and I don't think it can do as much as it sounds as though the IID can
