Due to a lack of dosh I cant acquier 17" plus AT tyres the set of Goodyear Wranglers 18" gave me 54k but now they are close to min profile depth.
I tried the 18" ST Cooper and they touch in access mode the classy even more that Babens 18" STT, on normal the front touches when turning sharp. I do need to add that Babem's had some KM on thus that option is out the door and they are very pricy.
There was lots of discussion on AT and mud tyres yet all are for 17" that does not help me what is the opinion on the Bridgestone Duler HP, for handling and mileage for road tyers? White LR3 TDV6 2007

I have the bridgestone Dueler HP's on my vehicle. Have had them on for about 40K so far, will probably last another 40K. They handle fine (better than the wranglers) and are also a lot quiter. Appear quite good in the wet as well. As an added bonus they are (were) half the price of the wranglers.

Cooper Ht+ is a good tyre road biased but fairly bullet proof. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

I have am using Bridgestone Dueler AT 694's 265/65/R17 tyres and have done 34 000 on them with little tread pattern wear. I do offroad gates events with the LR Club (Durban) and quite a bit of rock crawling and gravel track driving. Very happy so far
I think Discoeast also rates these tyres D3 2005 HSE V8 model, snorkel, nudge bar, uprated tow hitch (12T), Goodyear Wrangler MTR (MT) tyres, National Luna battery box, Outback roof-rack, Takla seat covers.
