Didn't take any during the fitting process...one of the previous posts above gives a good idea of how much material to remove.
If you want to see how it turned out now fitted back onto the car I can take some photos this weekend and post on here....let me know.

Silver ones are fitted in my pic, however thought they were a little OTT so sold them on and fitted the black ones instead. They dont stand out as much and look rather nice. Well I think so anyhow. Also the bottom one stops birds going in through bumper grille when they fly out in front of you on the country roads.

looks better with the lifestyle kit. My middle bar is painted the same colour as the bumper insert
