It would interesting to check if they had 'E' rear diffs on the two vehicles that went up. I'm sure the cameraman did'nt walk up there....

But why when these programs have to go fast when off road? Particularly on green lanes. It gets us a bad reputation.

Watched it many times.

Still love the 3 there’s just something about it, I remember the first one I ever saw it was a silver HSE, looked like it should’ve been exploring the moon. As mutch as I love the 4 it just didn’t have the same feeling for some reason.

Yes, I remember a similar thought when I first saw a D3 on the road in early 2005. There must have been a sci fi tv prog with a similar shape vehicle.
 Just 'cause you got the power... that don't mean you got the right.

I think this was it;

Its coming back to me now.
My favourite toy back in the 70's! Must be the stepped roofline that is the common feature with a D3.

That's why I kept the original grille and rear lights. In case that design of original robustness sets the value of the car. I intend to keep her indefinetely.
I am thinking of building a new block of garages and reserve a section to sit and admire her while sipping my coffee.. ..if the engine ever dies..
