Just arranging my 2nd service as it's due next month. Have rung a few dealers, and the price difference is quite large!
Cheapest came in at £500, next was £550, then £600. The most expensive was the dealer I bought the vehicle from - £690, so I don't think they'll be seeing me again D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT

I've just had a 5th year B service but they don't call it that any more,
And was charged £460 at Williams Manchester, but what gets me, is that when you book it in,agree a price, drop it off, and then,,,,,,, within a couple of hours get the call...... Hi LR recommend that you change the brake fluid and coolant at this service ?? Would you like it done and it will be £££££ above your service costs!!!!!
Why don't they include these in the service price quoted instead of adding it on half way through All so they can squeeze them extra ££££££ out of my tight little fingers MY18 D5 HSE LUX😎

Best prices I've had , have been from Cambrian Land Rover in Aberystwyth but a bit off the beaten track for most. About £200 less than Shukers in Shrewsbury for 2nd service.

Main Dealer £495, in the end. Dropped off a new R/R sport demonstrator, Serviced, washed and Hoovered mine before returning at the end of the day to swap back over ! That's how you get someone's future business Discovery 4 HSE LUX Causeway

Been quoted £545 for a B service at Shukers Shrewsbury seems about an average price.
Just dropped my 2010 D4 in for a 5th year A service (mileage only 50k though). Apparently the dealer is doing a special deal for older vehicles and was quoted £279 including oil, oil filter and air filter. Checking the service check sheet, I see that under a normal LR A service, the pollen filter should be changed whereas the air filter is done on B services. If they change the air filter instead of the pollen filter, im happy enough and can do the pollen filter myself. Item 34 on the check sheet is to renew the transfer box oil, and is marked as needing done at 80k miles. Should I read that as an actual 80k miles or the 80k mile service which is the 5yr A service?
