D4 binnacle screen

2010 hse D4
Is there a software update for the instrument pack so you get the phone book to display on the binnacle screen as the *D3 used to do .or have i just got my settings wrong

Find it difficult to scroll names looking at the sat nav screen while on the move MY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car
MY10 HSE D4 auto
MY14 XXV more buttons than the spaceshuttle

Can anyone who has a D4 view their phone book on the small screen on the dash
If so what year d4 MY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car
MY10 HSE D4 auto
MY14 XXV more buttons than the spaceshuttle

My D4 screen in my d3, but with the d4 BT module, displays the phone book on the nav screen.

If you mean the little screen between the speedo and rev counter then no you can't view the phone book on there Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

Thanks DG mine dosent do that and i thought it odd as i had a wiggs D4 module in the old D3 and it did so was,surprised not to have this

What year is yours maybe mine can be altered to do this As it seems a lot of screen that does very little if not

Heard,mentioned that sat nav info also should repeat on this,but again mine seems to have little use other than settings menus MY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car

My 2010 XS doesn't show nav or phone details on the small screen below the speedo - only on the nav screen

must be a 2010 thing

seems a waste of the screen to me . and i really miss not being able to scroll the phone book on it as i used to on the D3.

but might be able to get later instrument software on it like i did on the old bus when i had COTD done will find out and post the result if it happens Thumbs Up MY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car

It is a waste not showing Nav and Phone info right in front of you Wink

My Audi A8 had all that and it was very useful. Stew,

2010 D4 gone but I really loved it
Went back to Merc - C350 AMG
