| D4 - Charging Voltage & Voltages generally |

on the correct charging voltage for a D3. I don't want to hijack that thread.
Can anyone please enlighten me about voltages generally for the D4.
I have recently installed a battery monitor and need to comprehend what it tells me.
Currently the charging voltage is 13.19 volts, & the cranking voltage is 12.27.

I had one of those cheap accessory socket plug in voltmeters,
mine used to show around 12.5V without the engine running, drop to 11-11.5V on start up then quickly climb to 14.5-15V once up and running. 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten
