You can see they are the same for pin 1 to 3 but then they skip one position as this is the position for powerfold (if it had them). 012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)

Just to update, I got the mirrors fitted. The mechanical changeover is a straight swap, only issue was one seized bolt which snapped. Managed to find a suitable replacement in my 'box of bits'.
The wiring confusion seems to have come from the wires colours mentioned being at the socket end of the door loom and not the mirror plugs.
I cut the wires on the mirror loom from the plug and removed the pins from the plug. I removed the pins from the D4 plug and cu the plug off the wires. The wires then fitted neatly into the old plug. The colours were a straight swap. Only difference was the red on D3 was red & white on D4, and the two blacks on D3 were black & grey and black & blue on D4.
All tested and put back together and now the passenger side won't adjust! Must just be a bad connection in the plug/socket as there was signs of corrosion in them which I cleaned out, but maybe not well enough!
Anyway an easy enough job if a bit fiddly swapping the plugs over, so anyone considering it should have no fears about doing it.
Sorry, totally forgot to take any pictures
