Just wondering if anyone has heard of a disco 4 engine seizing?
Happened to me 6 weeks ago on my 2010 hse with 64000 miles.
Been in and out for past 3 weeks with various restricted performance and noise issues.
Now it's getting a new primary turbo.
LR dealer says they've never heard of a failure before.

Hi and welcome. So has your D4. already had a new engine and now it is having a new turbo. My first D4 had a couple of new turbos and then a new engine. Dealer and LR customer service were all excellent. There have been a few others with failed 3.0 engines replaced under warranty . Suspect it is on par with most other makes selling thus amount of cars. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

My 59-plate XS had a new engine and turbo fitted last October at 2 years old and 42000 miles after the engine siezed at 70 mph on a dual carriageway. 2016 D4 Landmark - Waitomo/Ebony
2012 D4 HSE - Orkney/Almond - gone
2009 D4 XS - Buckingham/Ebony - gone

Just had my TDV6 engine replaced at 60,000Km (350Km after the service) Big end bearing failed.
