D4 halogen headlights
Evening all, Just had both dip beam halogen headlights fail within a day of each other, is this normal or a problem somewhere ??D4 XS

Probably not unheard of... Both will have exactly the same amount of 'on' time...
When buying the replacements make sure you buy decent branded one as the disco voltage does tend to be on the higher side from the alternator.
Possibly try and stay away from the ones that claim to be 200% brighter etc as they tend to have a stupidly short life span.26 and on the 4th LR..

Thanks for that Will, several people told me to stay away from cheap ones too, have a look at some Osram ones I think or genuine LR & see how we get on.D4 XS

H7 Twenty20 Endurance 12V 55W 477 Halogen Bulbs were the only thing that lasted a decent time on my MY11 D4. Pretty much everything else I tried blew within months... and usually together.

Oh well ! Instead of buying new bulbs........gone the whole hog & bought her a pair of xenons !! Lol. See how we get with them. Thanks guys.
