Thanks Motolab for the fast response
yes I have updated the BCM and I have the 3 flash indicators
just didn't see MY10 option in GAP tool only reverse camera on/off
just wondering if the CCF edit should have given options other than click it for on (green)
all options seemed to be enabled or disabled, thought it may have said on off MY10

I don’t think it’s that.
The options you should have is no, yes,
MY10 if you scroll further.
If you aren’t seeing this, then it’s the gap iid firmware that needs an update. Is it old ?
Read my posts here and it will tell you what is the minimum gap firmware required

If you get DAB to work, please write a how to please, as i tried a lot, with a OEM LR unit, with an aftermarket unit, never got it functioning.. the LR D3 my06 buildt in ‘05 does not see the DAB unit on the most bus, so the D4screen buttons do not work (although active) after activating them in the ccf..Best regards

screen bench test?
Hi all - ive only just found this thread - fantastic! I thought id give it a go, but failing at the first hurdle.
I followed Flacks pfd, but no joy. No life in the D4 screen. I bench tested for basic power, and it didn't come to life. I assumed a bad screen. But Ive a spare D3 screen, so installed it in the car - it works. Out and on the bench, it doesn't.
Really basic question - if I want to bench test my sat nav screen, with 12v power supply, pins 1 and 3 are power and earth on the D3 screen, and pins 8 and 11 are power an earth on D4 screen. Correct?
So in my house on a bench test, on a D3 screen, I should be able to connect the +12v from my transformer to pin 1, and the -12v from my transformer to pin 3.
The screen should then fire up?
Im guessing im doing something fundamentally wrong - because the screen isn't firing up, but it does in the car...

Think you are missing the ignition supply. Or assessory ICE enable supply
It should display the LR logo.

I've already read Flack manuel, it's not the point, it's more about the model of my camera.
About effort as you say, I find my camera ref is LR051728 and it's part og 360 camera setup of LR4 and I think it will not work as regular camera as on LR4 there is a camera ecu between cameras and screen and there is more wires as regular camera.
