D4 Towing and using Cruise control TDV6 - disappointed
Hi All,
Yesterday I towed for the first time with my D4 which i have had for a little over two weeks. It was a journey of around 650kms towing a race car that weighs about 1300kgs.
I would notice that on steep hills with the cruise control set at 115km/h the speed would drop off to about 89km/h on hills before changing down a gear and then it would accelerate all the way up to 120km/h and slowly reduce the speed to the original setting of 115km/h.
In comparison to my D3 I am a little disappointed with the D4's towing ability. My D3 was mapped though and Im not sure if this is playing a part.
Do you think there is something wrong with it, if yes then what?
