D4 VIN format - decoding to identify correct replacement par

I'm trying to figure out which Crankshaft bolt I need for my May 2012 built D4 2.7L TDV6 as there are two different sizes:

Part No Size VIN range

LR002458 14mm x 70 7A000001 to 9A501901
LR013377 16mm x 70 9A501901 onwards

However my VIN is in a different format. I assume the VIN codes above are the last eight digits of the VIN - number, letter, six numbers. Mine however is two letters followed by six numbers.

Found this picture online of a similar era D4 delivered to Australia:

Is this an Australian VIN thing then? If so, any ideas how to translate that when identifying required parts?

Hers - MY12 L319 Discovery 4 Lion 2.7L TDV6
Dads - MY98 LJ Discovery ES 3.9L V8

For the VIN:

The character in position 10 signifies the model year

5 = 2005 (D3)
..
9 = 2009 (D3)
A = 2010 (D4)
B = 2011 (D4)
..

The 11th character signifies the place of manufacture (A = Solihull, UK) and the remaining characters in the VIN string are the build number of the vehicle.

Your VIN in the attached picture is of a model year 2011 (10th letter is B) vehicle.

For spare parts, with LR, they always state the model year, factory (so A in case of D3/D4) and the vehicle build number as starting or ending for a part.

Thanks, so mine is a C in the 10th character (noting the picture above is stolen from Google Images and is of a D4 that is a year older than mine). Therefore I'm the later VIN range and M16 bolt. Cheers for the help.
