Sorry to keep on with the same old question but wondering if anyone had any experience of the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac. I have just found out that they do them in a 20” which would be great as I do not need to source some more rims. Wondering about noise etc as I know there are lots of review sites but would rather ask on here.
Would these suit a D4 with 20” Landmark alloys on.
Have just noticed they are 255/ 55 where as mine are 255/ 50 and being an idiot in these sort of things
Would these still be ok on my D4
Cheers

Mornin’
Looking at the similar options:
Duratracs or AT3s on a 20inch rim.
From my reading elsewhere, it would seem to indicate that the 55 aspect ratio of the Duratracs will fit.
Have to say I like the idea of a little bit more sidewall without changing the rims at this time.
Prices are interesting though locally I have noticed approx £50 / tyre difference in price with the Duratracs being the more expensive. Granted you seem to be getting a good deal more tyre for your money!

Yep I went with AT3’s in the end. I didn’t end up getting the D4 I was looking at and went for a newer HSE lux which came with 20 wheels. But I changed them for 19’s which seem to make the ride nicer. I like the AT3 I know some people say they have had problems in the wet but I haven’t had any probs in the wet and find them very good.

Finally had the AT3s fitted |

Just thought I would closeout for now on this from my perspective.
Finally had the AT3s fitted - 255/55/20s
Wow what a difference from the LandSails that were on it when I bought it.
Instil confidence, quiet on the Motorway and stable around corners at *reasonable* pace ... occassionally causing second looks from ‘sports’ cars. Nothing silly just looking to maintain momentum.
Fuel economy no discernible difference, managing 30mpg on a run up the A1/M62 to Leeds.
And able to squeeze a little less around town chauffeuring kids.
Haven’t had the opportunity to take them up tracks etc yet....but from what the rest of you have said and doubt I will have any probs.
Definitely a good cross tyre. 2011 D4 HSE Black Black
