Whether we like it or not, the trend is hybrid and smaller engines (so not V6/V8...). I’d imagine JLR will have at least one for every model in a few years time once they refresh all. Probably not a stretch to imagine a DS with a battery pack sometime soon.

Also I agree that a hybrid FFRR is probably not within the reach of most people but that wasn’t the original constraint Mr. Green

I want a FFRR SDV8 before Ms Sturgeon has us all in electric cars Rolling Eyes it’s on my list but I keep getting swayed by other more sensible models.

Bar the Defender, I’ve only got the RRS and FFRR to go and I’ll have owned each model in the range Embarassed

What with 19” wheels? I see plenty here towing, the old V8 diesel must have been awesome.

No, I can't recall ever seeing one towing a horse trailer.

I do remember hearing that you couldn't get an All Terrain tyre for the 19" rims, but that was a long time ago.

We’ve had an electric car since March, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Whilst it has a lot of good points, the range is a massive issue, especially as my wife refuses to charge it publicly (she has a point about the time it wastes), effectively meaning it will never travel more than 50 miles from our house. So her plan to use the Discovery less has backfired, as it now gets used more.

Given I can’t get to grips with iDrive I avoid driving her car as well, although having recently surrendered my driving licence, I can’t drive anything just now, so I would even be pleased to drive the i3 at the moment!!
