What did you do in you D5 today?

After lunch run along the Achnasheen to Loch Marie road. Bit wintery, dog didn’t get her walk.

Not many users on the D5 site. Better off being a sub group on here, just like D3, D4.

It doesn't seem to have the same feel and banter on D5 as it does here. It seems a bit 'sterile'. Besides a sub group seems like a good idea on here because people like to hear how peeps are getting on and also to stay in touch with those they come to know on this forum.

Maybe Martin could give the D5 a subsection on here (contents copied from the Disco5 site maybe) just like the D3 and D4 have?

Really? It is a very active forum. Very little is posted here by comparison.

I just visit both. Thumbs Up

I’d disagree. The below screen shot usually pops up.

I’d also agree with Moo personally. Plus the resources and knowledge on the D3/4 site are far more extensive. Just seems a logical extension to include the D5 on this forum rather than separate it.

Are you sure your search is working, some features of Disco5 do not work the same way as the other forums.
I have this saved https://disco5.co.uk/forum/search.php?search_id=newposts and brings up new posts every morning and afternoon for me.

This sub forum can go for weeks without any posts, although is seems to be alive at the moment!

There maybe more knowledge on here about D3's and D4's but no way for D5's.
There is so much that is different and unless you had a D5 then would not have a clue.
Apps, infoitainment, electrics to name a few that raise a multitude of questions.

Kids are on holidays. After lunch I offered them to go to a beach just north of Torridon for a couple of hours. Not that warm, but fine for a walk.

One Censored off in his car with the dog to do a walk in the woods and the other two turned the central heating up to “tropical” Rolling Eyes

There’s always tomorrow. Might as well go and clear the garage up. Rolling Eyes

I’ve got a fair amount for the tip but thankfully I’ve got a trailer. I’ve stuffed 8 x 1 cubic meter bags with cuttings. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but I was relying on big boy to help me. Big Cry
