I've tried auto-tuning the DAB radio in my D4 but not that many channels pop up. (My 2022 BMW parked next to it finds lots.)
Is this to do with the age of the car, or might there be something wrong?

The D4 may not have Dab+ depending on the year of manufacture.Dab+ has many more stations than Dab

That could work well! I've been doing a lot of research this weekend, and it seems that my 2009 D4 will have DAB, not DAB+. So I've ordered the DAB+ module - next weekend's job will be having a go at fitting! I'll DM you about tomorrow

How did the Dab + module fitting go, which module did you fit, I have the same problem with my 2010 D4 XS, would appreciate some info.

Well, fitting the "plus" module is easy. Whipped the old one out, and whacked in the new one. Very glad I bought the adaptor cable. But, I think now it needs coding... So the update is, definitely do the swap, but then figure out how to get your hands on a GAP IID tool. Or someone who has one....

Where did you purchase the module and the adaptor cable, I have my own Gap IID tool so should be simple to code, appreciate a point in the right direction. Discovery 3 SE gone but not forgotten.

Hi Dave - I bought the module on eBay and the cable is actually a Jaguar part! I'll dig out the part number for you and DM you the details.
I posted elsewhere on here looking for some advice about the coding. And I'm afraid the response hasn't been brilliant. Whilst the instal was fine, it seems the the only coding option is a straightforward on/off for DAB with no option for DAB+.
So I'd hang fire on the purchasing bit until I'm sure that this is possible!
