Then ever the heated rear window is on it cuts out the DAB radio and also interferes with FM. New Defender Deposit paid 12/17:-) Lookin forward to Dec 2018.

No problem with mine both screen and rear on the DAB is ok, maybe a suppresser problem

Well it looks like after a day at dealership it's got to have the head lining down and the FM receivers changed! New Defender Deposit paid 12/17:-) Lookin forward to Dec 2018.

All parts changed and now they say if it continues it's the heated rear window that needs replacing as the top element had gone!
Not covered under warranty!
Never noticed it before!
Correction.
They have actually cut out 2 small sections of the element to stop it from working!
Each cut about 10mm long.
I have complained! New Defender Deposit paid 12/17:-) Lookin forward to Dec 2018.

Guys, heres a potential fix for this.
Had a similar issue and called my local Harwoods garage. Apparently if you TV is set to UK, then the signal that fetches details of the programmes on now and later interferes with DAB and causes it to cut out.
Their fix was to go into the TV settings and change it to anything else other than UK. I done this and it stopped DAB cutting out. Only issue is when the kids want to watch TV I have to set it back to UK!
