Yes, you are right, for cars, French are pretty "patriotic"... And the new pig-ugly car from Renault is not going to ameliorate things !
Beside with all the bad press about 4x4 in France and the enthousiasm of the press for the Velib' ("Free" bike rental in Paris...), this is not going to be any better anytime soon !
Anyway, I love my D3... Georgia On My Mind...

Anyway I qute like the "Velib" thing, I just knwo it wouldn't work in the UK...
it is good free publicity for JC Deceaux as well you are right, it seems to be on the French news every night!!!! end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

I'll keep my eyes peeled then!
I'm not usually in the D3, but on a blue Triumph Sprint ST - just a bit quicker for commuting into Paris.
