Dashboard passenger side airbag crack!

Ok so it’s started, noticed a hairline crack the other day about 2 inches. Has anyone succeeded in a repair. Possibly filling and blending colour etc. Just Googled replacing the whole dash top and don’t particularly want to go down that route 😳 thanks in advance.

I did the replacement its straight foward enough but very long winded dont blame you for trying repair first.
I am sure someone on here will have done it by now.
Might be worth a search maybe?

I imagine that any type of repair would not be useful or adequate, since that crack must have a programmed and safe break, remember that the airbag has to come out of there in case of need, don’t forget that any repair must be very careful and should not influence in its operation! 👍🏼

Dashmat

When the same happened mine, I just got one of these -

The mat looks good and hides the crack. Probably a whole lot easier than repairing or replacing the top of the dash.
