Thanks guys for all the great information on the SUV tents.
I contacted Napier via their website and got my local Australian distributor. They can sell me the 8100 Full Size SUV tent for $370 (Aus$) delivered. This includes the 10% GST we have to pay here.
With the conversion it looks pretty good as that works out about $153 UK unless I have done the conversion wrong! Just wanted to let you know in case it gave you some leverage for a better deal.
Best thing I like about this tent is that you can use it stand alone without the connection to the car when you want. D/loaded the instruction manual and it looks easy to assemble as well

Well, JMC, Ken2463, Gazavich....
Unless you've contacted Tony, and sent payment. We may be able to save another tenner!

Sportz Full-Size 4x4 Tent
An update....
At the moment we have,
JMC,
Ken2463,
JCB,
Chippypip,
And Gazavich who is currently pending. If you do decide to go ahead Gazavich let me know.
I had put an end date of 3rd May, but perhaps we'll wait until Saturday 6th May. Thanks for your input JMC
Currently the Tent is costing us £238 (including Gazavich), a saving of £71.
It's now the 6th May. Did we get any further on this? What do we do now?

I need to know if all interested parties are still interested JMC, then I can inform Tony what numbers we are looking at (Gazavich is a probable).
Naturally we don't want to send our money if someone decides not to go ahead, as the amount will be wrong.

Just tried to email Tony, email thrown back. The website is not up either, could be just a glitch.
I have enquired via Napier Enterprises and got another dealer and have emailed them, just in case.

If I can help with any info/pictures etc of the actual tent just let me know, I am now going to get the tent before the car arrives
I had the distributor give me the dimensions of the tent in its box to get an idea of its size when packed as I could not see the information on the website. It should arrive in 2 days so I am interested to see the size when packed into its actual carry bag. If it can fit behind the third row seats it would be ideal.

Hi all, won't be going for the tent as I have errected for the first time and checked the D3 day tent I have. I'ts very good quality and made by Khyam no ground sheet or inner but fits the D3 great so will be purchasing ground sheet very soon, not bad for two people over the weekend. I have received an email from John Kidman, who is the UK distributor of Sportz Tents. This is good news to those who are still interested!
Here's his email...
Thank you for your enquiry and the Full Size can be purchased from us at £ 205.00 which INCLUDE DESPATCH AND VAT. Thank you for your enquiry and if you let us have your address we have side tubes and steps for the Discovery 3 and will be able topost the details.
Regards
Well guys, what do yo think? It would appear that the Tentsaway website is still not accesible, which isn't a good sign.....
I will enquire as to whether we can pay by credit card, and also ask if the tent gets delivered from a UK address.

Thanks Husky for the information on pricing but I don't think it will help us get a better deal. Glad however to hear your getting the tent.
Also in regard to your later post I appreciate your offer of some pictures/dimensions/feedback from a member who has already received their tent but we should be fine.

28" long, 13" wide/high. It says on the box 'only minutes', but guess thats a cop out. I reckon it took me about 15 minutes to put together.
You get destructions too, I found them in the holdall after I'd put it up!
