| Dealer Fit Bluetooth PTI packed up - Help !! |

I had the Dealer fit PTI fitted after I ordered my HSE (05), which has worked fine(ish) for the last 4 years. However it now seems to have become very sick !!  When I use the "green" call button on the steering column there is no longer the "beep" sound, but the stereo becomes locked in "phone mode" and is only released after the car has been switched off for a while. Also, I can no longer detect the bluetooth signal from the system, no matter which phone I try.
I have also tried removing the fuse to the cigarette lighter (as I think it is the same circuit) to try and reset the unit, but that did not work.
I know there are a few threads about this kind of problem, but has anyone experienced the above and if so, how did they sort it out (hopefully not a complete new unit  ).
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Bonatti Grey HSE 2.7TDV6
