Dealers

Having read some very interesting comments about dealer service - or sometimes lack of Twisted Evil - how about we maintain a list of those who we reckon in our humble opinions actually do a good job Question This doesn't involve slagging anyone off but merely naming the good guys, and individuals at dealers in particular. These cars are expensive and complicated and I guess we are all busy if we can afford them in the first place so visiting the losers should be avoided.

My car hasn't been serviced yet but I would be interested, to kick things off, if anyone has anything good to say about Surrey / Hampshire dealers.

ps Weird that the Jaguar dealers under the same umbrella seem to be BRILLIANT in service, returning calls and so on but LR so aloof. Different charm school?

Great idea lawman

Can only advise of bad ones currently but apprently there are some god ones out there Very Happy though for Surrey I got an instant response when I phoned Hunters in Guildford with a few questions

Martin, rather then this turn in to another rambling thread could you knock up a form of some sort to submit details of good dealers to you then you could put them all on one locked page?

Slimer thanks. I almost bought from Hunters but they were way off the price on their own admission. Seem like nice people but I would like to know more about their technical service competence if possible?

ps Did see them many months ago stripping down some D3's to examine how they work so here's hoping!

Hunters are my nearest dealer but I didn't buy from them for the same reason
I'm going to give them a try next time I need something doing, let me know how you get on if you use them before me
