Decision made...I'm keeping it...
Well the finance is cleared, the auto trader was bought, dealer websites trawled, conversations with other manufacturer dealers (Merc ML, Volvo XC70/90, BMW 530d, FL2 HSE) but it's a no...she's staying.
Not as flash as some of you boys but I seriously can't find a car in my price range that does the job as well or better than my 05 SE...with just 60k on the clock....so it's staying and if the wife doesn't notice I am gonna look at a faster Catheram or an M3
I have decided to treat the old girl though with a little help from some members;
New Leather steering wheel - Nick @ Yeovil
Service and check up - 10
Full body make over - JKP 8)
New 20" Overfinch's.....maybe ??......if i can find Ron's pictures !
And if I ask nicely I am hoping Steve Smith with take my steering wheel off with his special tool
Its been such a pleasure....after 50k miles and 2 3/4 years owner ship this THE only ever car I have kept this long, the only one to put such a smile on my face and I cant see that changing so here's to another 60k !!!!
NickD4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.
3.6 TDV8 Vogue
XC90 SE Lux
A8 Quattro TDi
D3 SE

I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Good decision.... I'm usually bored senseless after having a car for 2 years but all I want to do is add to it with bits here and there. So thats the plan. Badda bing.......How you doin'?
Java black SE, standard spec. Clean and shiny.

Got more images if you want, they all went when my previous gallery disappeared.
Reckon you've made the best decision re keeping it.
I went through the same process 1.5 years ago.
Now got 127k on clock and even though I've had the odd repair bill, I've not regretted it.
If you've no finance, you should be prepared for the odd hit.
Oh btw, if you don't have one, take out an aftermarket warranty - I'm with AA at under £18 per month.
