| Diagnostic reading & Megaflush - Recommendation Essex |

Hi Everyone,
This is my first time posting and I am looking for recommendations.
I have owned my 58 plate discover 3 td6 automatic for 10 weeks. 140,000 on the clock.
When I’ve towed with the vehicle usually an hour or so into the journey I had a Transmission Failure, limited gears available error. When I stop and start the car the error goes off. The only time I have the error is when I’m towing (it’s happened on more than one occasion).
I have also noticed over the last week or so that the Rev counter jumps up and down. Which I managed to capture today on video. What I don’t know is if this is the box slipping or if it’s where it needs to change gear but I’m not quite fast enough (if that makes sense). I floor it at the end to show when it changes up a gear.
On a few social media sites, I have been advised that I need to have the diagnostic reading done and likely a megaflush as I can not find anything in the SH saying its ever been done.
I am really struggling to find reasonably priced local garages to complete this. Most people are saying it should be around £250inc VAT for the megaflush and service + diagnostic reading at about £60ish (give or take).
The cheapest I have found so far in Essex is £495 for both and these are not landrover specialists. Anyone have any recommendations?

Talk to Paul at Broadfields near Dunmow. Very good and fair prices. If he is too expensive then you are cutting corners! 2006 Java Black Metropolis - my first dip into the D3 world!
