| Diagnostic suspension settings 5 - heights |

I'm sure this must be posted elsewhere on the site but I couldn't find it. A mate of mine in Germany told me about the diagnostic mode where you can set the car to 5 different suspension heights.
1 Not raised - no air in the suspension and the car is on it's bump stops.
2 Access Height
3 Standard Height
4 Off Road Height
5 Emergency Off road height (about 3cm heigher than normal off road)
What's more the suspension will stay at all heights (except bump stops) for any speed.
There is also the option to "tune" the heights for the three normal heights (although when I played with this there didn't seem to much adjustment allowed.
This is all accessed through the sat nav screen (don't know about non sat nav models). I also believe that this is only available on MY06 or earlier models (maybe someone can confirm?)
To get to the settings you go into the diagnostic option and enter code 4721

I'm not familiar with the different specs on model years, but it works on my 54 plate MY05 D3 HSE MY05 Auto

Stu, you're sort of right, it CAN be done with the right diagnostics kit - including 'geometry setting mode' 
The Matzker kit can carry out similar functions but without the diagnostics
