so if they already happened to be on a 55 plate when you bought it could they reasonably stay on there - and plead ignorance? Disco 3 2.7 TDV6 55 Buckingham Blue Base

ISTR it became "illeagal" for manufacturers to supply them, not for anyone to use them. I may be wrong but that was my understanding.
ISTR it's illegal to fit them on any vehicle post the cut-off date in 2007, also illegal to fit them on any vehicle built earlier unless repairing/replacing an existing one. There is no requirement to remove one from any vehicle with one fitted prior to the dateThe End
sounds fine to me - as the owner of a 55 plate!!!! Disco 3 2.7 TDV6 55 Buckingham Blue Base

I'd be tempted to buy and fit just to go to Morocco later this year. Then remove and throw away when I return. For 2 quid it's a bit of an insurance policy for the front of the motor.
Is there an exact date in 2007. Mine is a 57 reg so might be able to fit legally . Sorry it might of been fitted legally when I purchased the D3 HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE

Running into the little sh*ts who throw stones at the car. Had it a couple of times last year and then climbing up the rear ladder whilst driving slowly through the villages. Car in front of me had a little git run alongside and open the rear door . Soon shut it though. HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE
