When did the DPF filter become standard fit?

Am I right in thinking that is was with the "new" 8 speed box or did some of the later 6 speed models also have a DPF?

Thanks.

Mine has it and its a MY11 D4 Commercial, keeps getting full as I do a lot of short journeys, so every 6 weeks or so I have to drive for about 30 mins at the correct speed limit for a dual carriage way to clear it! Smile

Thumbs Up

So if it's badged TDV6 then it will not have a DPF? You never know with LR spec changes!

Think the simple way to tell on a Vechicle is if the exhausts face down no Dpf filter fitted

Not that simple - a TdV6 could have had 1 as an option. Exhaust point down as mentioned is 1 way. Chassis number another.

As I suspected, typical LR. Seems the only way to be certain is to check the VIN. Thanks Martin Thumbs Up

Germany 2010 LR4 5.0 V8 HSE Auto Zermatt SilverLR4

Hi,

in Germany ALL D4 have a DPF - I think also the "family edition" with the old 2,7 TDV6. But surely all 3.0l TDV6 (and the following SDV6) have DPF in Germany since the D4 came in 2010.

I wonder if this is different in other (european) countries.

Greetings from Germany
