I sold a mint 300TDi Range Rover Classic 1994, soft dash. i wanted to keep it but had no room left, as I have in the garage, a mint 21year old 2.8i Ford Capri Injection, 1967 Triumph Herald and the wifes 1.9 TDi Golf. The dealer wanted to give me £1000 for the Rangie, but sold it for £4000 private. Arctic Frost Discovery 3 TDV6 SE, Active Rear Diff, Adaptive Head Lights, Tow Pack, Ebony Leather, Roof Rails, Mantec Guard. Tasmod Stainless Sill plates. Grabber AT's. Home made mud flaps. Side Steps back on until the next time.

Not sure if I've replied to this thread before but it's back at the top and I'm awake and embibing in one of BA's Heathrow T4 lounges...
I sold a gorgeous TDi 300 Discovery ES Auto. Oxford Blue, the best colour, with Granite Grey leather. And a 'mere' 69k on an 8 year old car. You should be so lucky. Got £5k for it. Cost £30k in August 97. Depreciation, that's for wimps. No longer a D3 owner but still subscribed to multiple threads!

Well, there are some great cars in this thread, but I think I've probably given the D3 its best compliment by selling a 10 month old RRS ! Matt

I traded in a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder Armada 4x4 5.6L. Pretty nice truck, but there were way too many things falling apart on it. 2004 was the first model year of the truck and Nissan didn't have all the bugs worked out before unleashing it on an unsuspecting public. The LR3 is smaller, but with my new expedition roof rack, I shouldn't have any trouble hauling stuff around.

Two cars sold!!
BMW 2001 M5 and Chevrolet 2002 Silverado pickup.. I loved them very much, but the big problem with BMW was the running expense and my pickup used to drink too much gasoline, So I was searching for a new car when my friend (LR Showroom manager) suggested to me to buy LR3.. And I got it, I felt in love with it untill my wife felt very jealous!!
I LOVE MY LR3 '05 LR3 HSE V8 - Adriatic Blue - Larini Exhaust System - Lamp Guards - Dual battery system - Hidden 12k winch - Rasta Sump Guard

I sold a 2001 Mitsubishi Pajero (or Montero or Shogun... depending on where you live) 3.2 DI-D. It had been trouble free (except for a radiator replacement) for 150000km.
To buy the Pajero I traded my 1996 Discovery V8 ES. At the time no one sold new Land Rovers in Sweden due to the BMW/Ford debacle.

I traded in my 2004 Freelander TD4 HSE for my Disco 3. This was only a stop-gap to fill my transport needs after I was cleaned out during the divorce from my ex-wife. Until said divorce, I drove a Hummer H2 and a 2005 Ford Mustang GT.

A 'slightly' modded Mitsubishi Evo 7, which was a daily driver and track car fun-toy. It had an appetite for tyres, brakes and clutches. I fully intended to get a track toy once I got the D3, but now I've the D3 bus it no longer holds an interest for me.
Coming off a nightshift and trying to drive a twin=plated clutch in the dead of winter is no fun. Much better getting into the D3, toasting my ass on the seats and gliding home.....
