Am I right in thinking this is just an HSE with a few options and a couple of shiny bits substituted? Hmm - LRCS ought to buy the email addys of a few Championship League players and go the direct marketing route.
Still, could be worse - seen the RRS HST? c/w snow plough on the same site?Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

I think that's exactly what it is. Dont see anything new or anything that you cant spec yourself as an add-on. If memeory serves me well I think they did a Metropolis edition for the old Disco 2 and that was nothing new beyond a top-spec with accessories pre-fitted and a premium price.D3 HSE V8...

Yes Mossy and it was a "run-out" model too, and I think only available as a V8.
One of the folks in the village where I live ran one for a couple of years, then traded it for a Tdv6 RRS HSE this year. Now a disillusioned new Land Rover buyer and have jumped ship to something less expensive and more reliable that hugs trees.... now driving a Mini Countryman PHEV as well as my trusty and brilliant 1996 Epsom Green Defender90 Tdi300

The other problem with these Special Editions is that you tend not to have much a scope to haggle on the price. I know a few people who clinched their deal on the accessories (discounts) and when you look at the cost of this - £47K+ I’m sure you’d get a better deal speccing to match – especially as the extras are not that special.
Local dealer has had two of those 35th Anniv. full fat Range Rovers priced at £85K. Hard to see what was so special (and dealer agreed beyond paint job and interior) to warrant the premium over T.O.T.R. Vogue Super Charged.
Not sure if they hold their price any better used – but that’s just a guess.D3 HSE V8...
Agree with you on the haggling; it's the resale that'll be poor. It'll be deemed to be an HSE with slight premium.
I think the only decent Spec.Ed. has been the 50th Anniversary Defender, which is still sought-after.Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana
