Difference between Disco 4 & Disco 4 Facelift
Good day, can someone please tell me what the difference is between a Disco 4 and the Disco 4 Facelift (which I believe came out in 2014)? I know there are differences in the head & tail lights - anything else?
Much appreciated,
Chris.

Wing mirrors less chunky. Side indicator repeaters replaced by Sdv6 blanking badge. Front bumper different shape, including fog lamp bezels. Front grill slightly different shape to accommodate new headlamps. Bonnet lettering changed from Landrover to Discovery, and likewise changes to tailgate lettering too.
I’m not aware of anything internally.

Some additional things that come to mind:
- Low range gearbox not standard in all models (At least here in Germany)
- Low range no longer selectable while driving. Car has to be at a standstill
- No follow me home available for the rear lights
- AdBlue for diesel motors as of MY15 ?
- Supercharged V6 replaces the V8 petrol engine
- New options: Wade sensing, rear traffic crossing warningDisco4 V6 SC HSE (MY2014)

Different style alloys.
Slight increase in engine power.
I can change low range to high while traveling up to 40mph, Don’t know about changing down never tried. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
