Here's why the FFRR costs more than the D3...........

The TDV8 has a Turbo Encabulator Shocked

United Kingdom 2008 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Tangiers OrangeDiscovery 3

When the first models of the Turbo Encabulator were introduced it was at the time a break through in technology Land Rover recognised this new development and were quickly fitted to the current models at that time this being the 200 Tdi which lead to the 300Tdi and finally adapted to fit the last run of Td5 Land Rover engines. Although there were some early issues mainly in the 200Tdi & 300Tdi with the hydrocoptic marzel vanes which in turn caused problems with the ambifacient lunar wane shaft meaning side fumbling was evident again ,not all models suffered this set back though. Some are still working to this date with no real problems at all, New parts are still available from the over priced stealers ,But most used parts are sold now on the black market or “eBay” as its known to its users

The industry is always demanding the next generation product and a new company to the market pace is Sun Micro Systems A company created on the 1ST April of 2004 to facilitate collaborative partnerships and provide unique expertise, with the objective
of shortening the development time from laboratory to finished product
Land Rover awarded Sun Micro Systems with the contract to develop the New Discovery 3 due to launch on the 4TH of April 2004 .
Work for the launch of the new Discovery 3 started the day after the company was formed

This new development would be a direct replacement for the Turbo Encabulator
Like the Turbo Encabulator new instrument would provide not only inverse reactive current for the use in unilateral phase detractors and automatically synchronise with cardinal gram meters. It would replace the mechanical moving parts with more up to date electronic items such as

Cool Thread Processors
Reliance Motors
Allen Bradley Controls
Sun Micro Systems Engine Softwear

This new instrument would be the Heisenberg compensator
With the Heisenberg Compensator in place finally side fumbling was effectively prevented.
The main winding was the same type the normal lotus-o-delta type placed in panendermic semi-boloid slots in the stator, every seventh conductor being connected by a nonreversible trem'e pipe to the differential girdlespring on the up-end of the grammeters.
More over when ever florescent score motion is required it may also be used in conjunctuion with a draw receptic location arm to reduce sinusoidal replenaration

All this new development means one important thing to the end user

If you own a Discovery 3

You will defiantly need a warranty……Good luck
