Dimming DRL,s when indicating on 14 style headlights upgrade

Hi all , after many years of the forum from which I have found much useful information ( many thanks to Martin , Narpy , disco mikey , Robbie , BBS spy , Steve Norman and countless others )
I found myself hunting high and low for info on the above, but to no avail.
So I rolled my sleeves up and after a little light browsing of wiring diagrams !!!! , I finally decided on a plan and this now completed leads me to sharing this with you as some contribution to the site.
It also might stop my son Thomas from nagging me as he kept on about upgrading his disco 3 to disco 4 with 14 style headlights.
My solution consists of piggybacking the two indicator outputs below the steering column as these are just a connect to ground signal going to the CJB.
I wil try to add photos as I go
First remove three screws below steering column and split cowling, next to the indicator stalk there will be a black flat connector, you need to piggyback pins 2 and 3 green / yellow and green / orange then run some two core out of the drivers footwell via a grommet along the trunking at the back of the engine compartment to the battery compartment.
I decided to have the relays up there so ran some multi core to each headlight.

I hope you understand this as it was a brainstorm whilst having a cup of tea one afternoon on an old envelope Very Happy
Ill just put up some other images

This is the steering column end

This is headlight end with resistors on indicator

This is the finished article
I also did the relay to make the flash work.
The trouble is I now want to do my 2012 disco 4 !!!!
Well I suppose it will be a bit easier
