I bought these same steps fitted them about 6 months ago and have not had a problem with them. they are easily fitted with no drilling etc. hardest part is cutting the trim for the brackets to go through but the holes are marked on the inside, so just a matter of breaking out the multi-tool.
quality is great, i would highly reccomend.

I just took delivery of some for my 3.
They look great... but no instructions?!?
Someone will no doubt say it's self explanatory... bit of a surprise though.
Thoughts?

Mine has their 'Event' boards on. I didn't put them on and neither did the previous owner so have to assume they are four years old. Still looking pretty good in my opinion.

Had a pair delivered today, I'll be fitting them tomorrow so will let you know how it goes. I've watched the YouTube how to guide and it all looks pretty simple.

Yep, piece of to fit, just as the video shows. Things that weren't as the video were, mine didn't have the spacers so I just used the washer to pinch the sill.
What I would do is offer the step up to the mounts before you fit the sill! This will allow you to check that the mounts fit into the slots in the step nicely.

Have you considered the side bars ?
http://www.direct4x4.co.uk/land-rover-disc...ated-steel
I fitted side steps to my D3,but put the bars on my D4.....No cutting of sills and much easier to fit "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

It arrived quickly enough and looks absolutely fine. Unfortunately, the new Disco's been delayed by at least 2 months, so it'll be a while before I'll be able to try them out

Perhaps a lucky escape as I spent the weekend before last helping to remove a damaged set of those bars from a D3. They are a really odd design with protruding brackets at 90 deg under the vehicle and ruining the ground clearance. A slight knock and everything distorts underneath and pulls on the mounting holes.
They were really difficult to get off and they had damaged the areas around the mountings. They could be modified with box section and suitable nuts could be welded in to reverse the fastener direction to protect the threads. Somewhat bizarrely the long thin threads dangle down so I had to cut them off.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948
