Disco 3 cable routing to the roof.

Trying to think my way through what seems to be a rare addition as I'm not finding very many similar posts.

I have the prospeed roof rack (old one) with the full suite of floors and I want to mount a pair of spots on the back.

What's the best way to pass the cables through the roof?

After this, I'm likely to want an antenna cable and possibly more power. I do have the prospeed light bar to fit but the a pillar will start getting busy plus I'd rather keep any holes within the roof rack.

Thoughts anyone?

My temporary turned permanent solution was, through the trailgate seal, then up the outside of the seal in the tailgate/boot jam, then out through the gap.

Could probably just out it under the seal if the wires were thinner.

You can get a good size cable up the front pillar trim. ideal as you can straight from the bonnet and up. I’ve got my aerial cable going up there. You could put aerial up one side and power up the other. For the rear, same as above, out through the boot and up. I suggest putting plugs on the cables at some point in the run, that way if the rack needs to come off at some point it’s just a case of disconnecting the plugs rather than removing cable / lights etc.

Tail light grommets have plenty of room for a couple of cables, i have 2 x 6mm airlines running thru the RH side.
