Hi There,
Went to go look at a D3 V8 yesterday (on the hunt for one).
Couple things I want to ask.
1) There's a transmission failure warning and an EPB fault error, but drives fine and has done apparently for numerous years with the same fault. Alternator failed recently so that's new and assumably battery is healthy. Am I right in thinking this could 'potentially' be the brake switch failure? Obviously many more expensive possibilities too, but seem to drive just fine.
2) Air suspension will lift, but wont drop down. Switch does nothing. No errors, no fails, but also light doesn't move down when I hit down. Could this be another switch failure? Wont drop to access either, or wont even pick up the switch trying to tell it to do so.
3) The LPG system seems to hiss continuously whilst running. Not had much experience with LPG ... is this normal?
4) The hiss above is from the engine bay ... I'm also picking up running lean error codes. Could this also potentially be a vacuum leak somewhere?
5) I picked up a U0122 error code too. Fairly generic (forgot my LR memory card). Could this also be linked to the above switch failings?
It seems to have a lot of issues, but love the V8'ness and contemplating the risk.
Can do the work, but knowing how problematic these can be (coming from having Defenders since being able to drive too), I'm quivering a little.
Some advice appreciated.
Thanks.

Is this the silver one on ebay? I saw that and thought about buying it for no other reason than it looked cheep and I thought a few faults would put off other buyers
Don't worry though - common sense prevails and I really have enough on my plate with the G4!
