Disco 3 front inner CV joint.
Just replaced the inner CV boot on my 57 Disco and noticed the CV joint was worn. I didn't do it at the same time as I wasn't expecting the wear (should have really Duhhhhh)
Spent ages on the web looking for an inner CV and found the following...
77 Euros imported from Germany, and the price includes postage.
I am guessing either Febest or GKN produce the original parts?
So here's the thing......according to Rimmer's, Landrover have not made the inner CV unit available as a spare part, so you have to buy the whole shaft.....OEM runs out at £190.....ouch.
If you go to EBay there is a firm in Estonia selling Febest at roughly the factory price BUT, they are adding £30 postage on top.
Just in case anyone out there wants to replace the inner joint....it comes with all the trimmings, boot and all, bargain!

Inner CV
Oh b@@@@er, ordered the inner CV for my front left, but did I?
Nope, 2 days later I got the part from Estonia (Great service), went to fit it on......too many teeth and generally too big.
Duhh, got the rear inner CV didn't I.....!
It's not worth sending it back, I opened the bag, and for a refund it needs to be re sellable condition.
Anyone out there want a rear inner left CV for a 2008 disco.....
The inner joints are not available from dealers, you HAVE to buy the whole shaft, or get this Febest part
I don't have enough posts to sell it without a fee, I don't know where to "Buy" the advert.....
