Disco 3 Towbar

I see adverts for removable towballs and electrics. I also see adverts for substantial towbars like I had on my Mk2.
Why would you fit all that metalwork when you can just plug in a removable ball. Why are wiring kits advertised when the sockets are already fitted?

Do your research, the detachable ones fall off!

Land rover now class them for occasional towing only.

I have a Trust towbar as i think it looks better than the genuine one.

As above, and the sockets are not fitted as standard. If yours has them it’s because they have been fitted by a previous owner.
