Firstly what a cr@p advert from the seller...... Two pics of interior out of three shots?
Far too limited in detail about the CatD status - maybe the advert was to 'lure' you in (worked for you)
Ideally I'd want to see the before and after pics and some evidence of what was done, maybe the repair quote (even if not repaired by the quoter).
A lot of cars can easily be Cat D'd by a wing and a headlamp but I'd suggest a D4 would be quite a few bits more than just that.
I've had quite a few Cat D's many years back but never something as new/expensive as a D4, usually a cheap city runabout.
There hasn't been a Cat D category for a year now as they changed on 1/10/17 to A, B, S & N (the latter the equivalent of Cat D) so how/why would you call it something that hasn't been the right description for 12 months now?
If you go in with your eyes open as to what you're buying then fair enough but be aware you're unlikely to ever be able to part ex it - dealers won't touch them, even indy's (all brands, not LR). Accept it's either a keeper or you'll be selling on privately, again with a 'bargain' price tag, and you'll be OK.
This particular one needs a lot more information about it for me before you even consider it's VFM and suitability.
I'd also suggest its a private trader or a trader-in-disguise - the phrase about "part ex's welcome at trade" is a usual sign. They also have a few other vehicles with similarly short descriptions and all their feedback as a buyer is of car parts from auto factors and breakers.......

It is cheap which is why I was going to check it out and local, can get others but older with double the mileage suppose it’s a gamble either way

it says "previously cat d, now fully repaired" … so 2 questions :
1. why would headlamp/front wing write-off a car that new/low miles ?
2. if fully repaired … why so cheap ?

Possibly stolen/recovered with the damage ? I don't know if they can list it as both on dvla ?
A bargain though... if only I had the cash.....
