So some good news. Body and frame is back together Thumbs Up

Bow down finally !!

All new oils and liquids went in as well.

Changed both diff oils as well.

They did not look good at all...
Front:

Back:

New oil:

New oil and clean for power steering pump:

For the engine:

Then did some beauty treatments for the back upper brake light ( it looked hideous)

So i made it a bit better:

New dryer as well for the air conditioner:

Then after all of that i tested if the engine would run, suspension works as it should and so on.

IT DID Mr. Green

But... note to myself!
Dont forget the gearbox shifter cable to be tightened after fitting it. And then thinking what the Censored have i done wrong now Whistle and why i cant drive out of the garage.

Now there is only some plastics to be refitted and mybe painted (black) and MOT and insurance and some cleaning to do.

And then i can finally move to upgrades and mods and so on 8)

Well done that Man.

Being in the trade I suspect you got the parts at a reasonable price too Thumbs Up

And with no labour charges you have saved yourself a small fortune and hopefully given yourself a good few years of trouble free D3 ownership in the process Smile

Can some on help me with Disco_Mikey; wiggs anyone s number or e-mail.

I have a SMALL problem in my hands with my D3.

My suspension does not work as it should. It all ways wants to got to the extended mod, after i push the button to go to standard or access. Everything should work ok. Compressor pumps and lets air out. Back end lifts and lowers, front lifts and lowers as well...but i thing it does not go as low as it should.
Like if i tried to do a deflate procedure it definitely lowered/emptied the back end fully but front stayed a bit higher. And the tool said that the deflate procedure failed.
So i thing there must be something wrong with front. Ou and it gives a code as well "C1A13 Pressure does not decrease when venting gallery"

Compressor is new from last year (2017)
It holds the air in as well. It staid 1,5 weeks in one place and the height was same.
Can it still be the frond suspension valve block ? Because it rises when it goes to extended mod and comes down when i want it to go to standard.

ANY HELP IS WELCOME! Bow down

That is the problem, i cant. Because i only once got it into standard mode, where it has to be for the calibration.
It all worked before i started the rebuild.
Cleaned and looked all connections and mass points.

It could be a loose connector/damaged wire/leaking valve..

However I would have thought you would have been able to calibrate it OK. DO you have an iid?

Sometimes the PCB/Switch can be corroded... I have a photo and video somewhere on the site.. That might be worth looking at just by way of eliminating something else perhaps?

Thanks for that.

Did clean it and it all works! Not the suspension thou! Censored

So i would need from you guys a new/used air compressor (AMK if possible) Bow down . To change the Hitachi one ( witch is only 1year old).
I need to change the compressor to see if it makes any changes. Because everything else works fine.

Maybe a first mod as well... so i would not loos my nerves in other issues.

Ref the Compressor...

Have you checked the valve blocks for white dust/contamination.

If the Hitachi is only 1yr old It may be OK... the issue may lie elsewhere?

Yes. All valve blocks and system is cleaned. If i Censored with it enough it is capable of lifting and lowering. It just does not like to stay in any but off road mode.

And our local LR specialist said that it could be compressor ( He does not like Hitachi s at ALL Laughing ).
Literally he has Hitachi graveyard behind his workshop Laughing . He said that those compressors cant handle our whether and salty road in winter.

I do hope it is not the compressor as well Confused

Just to clarify.
The suspension fault is it it keeps.reverting to the high lift position?

Ye it all ways wanted to go to extended mod. Right now it sits in standard, but when i try to move it. It would not and give me a fault.
Before it all ways said that the fault is "pressure does not decrease when venting gallery."

So took the compressor off and checked it and cleaned. All should work from that side. Even made shore that all pipes are ok.

Can it be from that i have not still calibrated it and might it need a new software?

Litterally everything checks out, all things work. It even looses the yellow light when i drive around but it comes back when i touch the up/down button.
