So some great news! Mr. Green

IT ALL WORKS (ok ok except for parking sensors, but got new modul to go in so).

After cleaning and blowing through all the system it started working again. I thing something was blocking the system somewhere.

Finished in the middle of the night: Yawn

And next day new MOT and 4-Wheel Alignment done as well Thumbs Up
Everything worked perfectly !

All was good... WAS... Censored

Yellow suspension light came back on. But now i think it might be the compressor it self. But we will see... need to take it off and examine what is wrong. It gives a code: C1A20- pressure increases too slow when filling reservoir.

Problem: Start the car, compressor starts its work, works around 1-2 min and then shuts off and at the same time the yellow light appears with the message: Normal Height only ! The gallery pressure is around 1720 before it shuts off with error and goes to 200-250. The Car has been in one palace for over 2 days and it has not gotten any lower from when i left it there.

Another problem is i only have one key for the lr and i would need a second one as well. I ve read about the keys, but is this true that i have to buy the OEM and from stealership ? Witch is some where around 300.- EUR !? Plus programming ?

OK so...

I THINK it should be good for now.
Had to buy a new compressor Censored was way out of my budget. But had to be done.

And now it works as it should. Just gonna check over if there s any funny leaks and if not all should be good Whistle

And to hide scratched paint:

Now...

First trip (about 1000km/621miles) done. Was pretty ok. Had some small problems caused by the cold weather( day -15 night -20..-25).
One time it started poorly and got all the electronic and esu-s crazy. Display was full of christmas lights. Censored
Was not happy. First suspected the steering wheel sensor. Because display did not show any movement when i turned the wheels.
But it just turned out that the cold start was so weak (it has a week old battery) it got every ecu going crazy. Luckily i had a friend with diagnostic tool and we cleaned all errors and had to re-calibrate the steering wheel angle sensor and all was back to normal.

Next day it had a new surprise for me. Starter did not make any sound. Yeee Censored
It seams its going to end soon. Finally got it working with a heater gun, heating up the starter. So that it would have any connection for the current to pass.

Got average fuel around 12L/Km( 23Mpg). I think it should be good right? ( Car was full of stuff and average temperature was -15)

So next things in list:
Starter
Possible loss of current because of the week battery
Maybe a wheel bearing or something, had a wierdly loud sound when driving.

Great update as usual Thumbs Up

Mpg sounds about right also.

For the cold starts, consider getting a remote for the FBH. So you can pre-heat the engine and will help greatly with starting.

Do a search on ALTOX on the forum - this has a app for your phone, so it starts by sending it a message Thumbs Up

Fascinating reading. Always love what some people consider a small job which I would consider a Herculean task Bow down

Anyone care to guess what the bill would have been if this had been done by a UK JLR dealer or top price independent?

Need some help again from you guys.
I thing some of my injectors are not working as they should.

readings with hot engine:

i think first 3 are out because of the 3 injector balancing at 725. and bulling others upwards. Maybe ???

And 4-6 are out because of 5 injector balancing at 800-868.

Im not a diesel specialist but i THINK it could be thous two ruining others work and making engine start poorly and some little vibration as well on idle.

ANY thoughts on this ?

OK so...

Here is my theory...

Ok 1 4 2 5 3 6 is the firing order (taken from Robby s post)

But cylinders and injectors are as:

cylinders 1 = I 1 reading: 1003
cylinders 2 = I 3 reading: 725
cylinders 3 = I 5 reading: 862
cylinders 4 = I 2 reading: 1243
cylinders 5 = I 4 reading: 1018
cylinders 6 = I 6 reading: 1136

So from that i could start from changing the injector 5 and 2. To see if with that i can get the I 3 reading UP and I 6 reading down.
Even if it works it seams that I 2 needs replacing anyway.

To be continued...

So a small update.

Got the engine working again like it should. Changed one more injector witch gave Min values all the time.
Making the startup long and idle a bit rough.
Now all is good.

Some balancing numbers:
