it will be 100,000 miles

belts are changed at 112,000 miles or 7 years IIRC but it doesnt hurt to be a little early with something that could kill your engine if it fails

Ahh ok...I thought as much. Generally the D4's are from about 180000km so thaats why I asked?

Sold my SDV6 before the change at 184K km.

Had my D4 V8 done about 2 months ago....No body lift required, but I think everything that has to happen and what needs to be changed is in the front???

- my local independant land rover specialist said it was body off for belts change, which he couldnt do as he only has standard ramps and not four post lift

- my local 'jack of all trades' independant who are very good, said they used to take the body off but they have now worked out how to change belts with the body in place.

- my local LR main dealer said it was able to replace the belts leaving the body in place, and as their price was comparable i went to them for B service and belts to be done. But they overtightened the HPFP tensioner bolt and it sheared 2 days later (they claimed it was a faulty bolt Rolling Eyes ), so they had to remove the body to replace the bolt at their expense Rolling with laughter
