Ah - bang goes my theory.

If no one come back to you the only help I can offer is
1/ to find a drill bit a tad smaller than the hole in the bracket.
Fit both brackets to the guard and position reasonably in the right place.
Push the dill bit chuck end first through the bracket, mark it (pencil)level with the guard side of the bracket, remove and measure, repeat on the other side and halve it (get it equal) then knock 5mm off to allow for the washer, bracket and a bit of tension.

2/The hole in the bracket will be clearance for the bolt, so the tube will be the same.

3/The bolt will be the first dimension 1/ plus twice 2/

And here are the sizes (just been out and measured mine !)

The bolt (pan head style) is 90mm long from under the head to the end of the thread, and is 6mm diameter across the threads

The tube/spacer thingy is (steel, not plastic) 64mm long, 17mm diameter, with a 7mm hole down the middle (for the bolt to pass through)
