Good wash to get rid of layers of salt. For the cleaning fetishists among you Whistle

Thorough rinse with hose (mains pressure)
Wash with bucket of Simoniz no wax shampoo using very soft Karcher brush
Rinse with mains hosepipe
Dry with Autoglym drying cloth.

It still has coat of wax applied before Christmas. Beautiful beading. Fair takes your breath away to see it. Rolling with laughter
2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.

You can't beat a nice clean car! And I don't often pay someone to do the work for me either. I enjoy doing it myself too much!!

Nice. I always think the car goes better after a clean. I also enjoy cleaning it. Gives a sense of satisfaction. I have never paid to have a car cleaned.

Scotland 2009 Discovery 3 TDV6 XS Manual Zermatt SilverDiscovery 3

The wonderful DiscoMikey put new brake sensors on mine today. I swear my D3 is psychic as it only ever bongs or throws a wobbler when I’m due to go away within a day or so. Yesterday it sensed I had bought ferry tickets for Wednesday and so started throwing up ‘check brake pads’ warnings. Given that I’m going to an island with lots of windy, steep roads I thought it best to get them replaced. Fantastic Mike said he’d check it today. Gave it the once over, reassured me about the brake pads being very healthy so reckoned it was the sensors. Replaced the sensors and one relieved and very happy owner enjoyed a trouble free run home.

Many thanks Mike!

finally the odious GG are out!!! Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
it has cost me... it seemed that they would never come to the end Evil or Very Mad Censored ...
the damn noise also is out.... Bow down
.... I really wanted to follow the wise people of the place and put Pirelli Scorpion ATR but the lack of stock and especially the speed code download It has convinced me otherwise. I am happy with the Michelin for the moment, little noise and perfect grip in wet and mud.

Had a set of these put on yesterday Very Happy

Would have liked to have put Michelin Latitude Cross on but they don't make them for 19" wheels Sad

At the Indy today so they can run diagnostics on why the cold start isn't working properly & hopefully get it sorted whilst still under LR Approved Used Warranty.

Supposed to be getting an MoT on Friday but currently in 'discussions' with insurers about a replacement wndscreen that is needed...
