After dusting the snow off drove to the local Travis Perkins to collect some rock salt to clear the road we live on. It has a small incline outside our house and there was a lot of spinning wheels this morning as the council didn’t get to us. Just invoicing them now for the £4.20.

If you have black rims underneath then it is a vastly improved appearance. 2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.

There are non-genuine ones for under £30 but you takes your chances there. Also make sure it is the correct frequency transmitter/receiver for the model and country (434 MHz I think) for EU/UK.Tony

Despite massive apprehension it only failed on one thing which was the fuse for the drivers seat module had popped. Cost 10p to fix, immediate retest and a pass - VERY happy bunny 8)
Only advisory was brake pipes had some mild corrosion on front to back. Is it worth trying to salvage the ones that are there or is it get the wallet out time?
