Next time let them take your car, mainly as it’s covered by warranty.

Filled up with fuel in Aviemore ready for trip home tomorrow. Bit of a minor disaster. Half filled and pump switched off. No amount of coaxing got it going again. Bloke inside said to take it out and start again and till would produce a composite bill for the two fills. Aye right ! Started second fill and the pump didn’t click off so overflowed. Diesel on the ground and down the paintwork. Then had to get two separate bills and make two separate payments because till had been cleared by another numpty. Can’t blame JLR for this.......or can I. 2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.

Got it back from the garage.
Had rear lower carrier arms, rear lower knuckle bushes, spindle rods, tie rods, front & rear droplinks and a front wishbone bolt replaced.
The vehicle drives like new again and NO knocking anywhere. 8)

Heard that the part has arrived earlier than originally expected. By 36 hours.
Looks like I might have the D4 back early next week - depending on what else gets broken in the process.Gordon
