Today it was the rear nearside calliper and carrier. The calliper was the original over 11 years old and looked it. Tomorrow brakes need to be bled. Hope the weather is OK.
Next month it’s the rear discs / hubs and brake pads. Oh the joy of a D3 in advanced yearsOnce you have defeated the idiots any job is half done. Pity there are so many idiots to defeat.

Bought a new gadget as i would like to keep an eye on oil pressure but might as well
go the full hog, so it will do out of the box, oil pressure, fuel pressure, turbo boost, oil temp, water temp, exhaust temp.
yes will be a fake unit but a d3 is no race car lol, as long as it shows me what i want i will be happy.

Thought it would be a good idea to change the cabling from aux battery to the rear power board....and then decided to take the opportunity to do a bit of cable tidying....then decided to swap the 12v normal sockets to magcode power ports....
Think I got a bit carried away....
Every accessory connection now with 30amp cable whether it’s spots, light bars, 12v sockets, Radio chargers, inverter....
110amp cable from the aux battery to the Blue Sea power distribution board also now installed but needs a big crimp tool though :lol

I could confirm that, or not, but what happens in the Pyrenees stays in the Pyrenees. Not from personal experience I do emphasise.

Found a pin hole in the rear offside brake pipe and it had to be the long metal one , so pick up a new one from advanced factors and fitted it , as it's was up in the air, cleaned and adjusted the EPB.

Rather than messing with fixing the air suspension, I thought it might be nicer to put some side steps on (starting at 4pm on a Sunday?!).
Only got one side done as I don’t fancy having to take the compressor off around them
Drivers side done!
Passenger side TBC
