They look nice
If it was me I’d fit them with an inline switch or fuse then you can turn them off / disable them whenever you need

They do a good job at DDB detailing - was it expensive as I was quoted £300 for my wife's XC90

Drove to northern Italy and back last week - 1,600 miles, around £400 in fuel, 130km/h pretty much all the way and not a squeak of any faults

Gave my car a 75k mile present.
Driving from Edinburgh to Great Yarmouth (sublime to ridiculous?), I stopped off to pick up a pair of bi Xenon headlights from an ebay seller. Great price and a nice guy and the car and I are delighted!
Driving with the xenons makes me realise how rubbish the halogens are in comparison. Both dipped and full beam are brilliant. Literally.
Now I will sell the halogen headlights and a set of Ring driving lights that I was going to fit to compensate for the inadequacies of the halogen headlights.
Now trying to work out how to get the cornering lights to illuminate.... There's always something to stop me getting bored...D1 300Tdi - gone
D2 Td5 ES (Alive remapped...mmm) - sadly gone

Changed the oil, filter and oil temperature sensor today. Hopefully stop the temperature gauge going up and down. My way of getting a bit of extra lift.

That's what I do. Stack of 3 decking planks either wheel and I can slide under.Just 'cause you got the power... that don't mean you got the right.

Gave mine an interim 6 month service
First time servicing this and only a 6 month filters and oil change. Will do the fuel filter again at 12 months so have to say it was hugely pleasant not having to get under the car!!
I bought a suction pump of eBay for just under 30 quid which is excellent and highly reccomend for the D4 with the pipe already!
Even managed to get my eldest involved which he enjoyed!
Pretty sure the air filter hasn’t been done in the past 12 months!!!!! I’ve had the car 7 months and 4K miles now and the dealer ‘serviced’ it before I picked it up! Yeah right!!
Bodsy flushed my box yesterday and Flack did my belts a couple of weeks ago so hopefully all good for the summer towing the tin tent!!

It’s a great idea it can’t go anywhere. Although it doesn’t look it the car is also sitting level on the drive. I might try to change the gearbox fluid next.

Fitted rear HST Bumper
At last a day off work so I decided to remove the original bumper and fit the HST rear bumper.
New fixings purchased and all went smoothly well almost. Side fixing which the bumper clicks into snapped.
New bumper reflectors fitted. Just need wiring in to the brake / reversing lights.
Will have to order a stick on reflector for the MOT
